The quickest way to determine pricing is to contact sales department. Erickson Stock does not offer a traditional pricing calculator. Because our customers tend to have multiple usages over multiple images and pricing becomes too complex for a simple calculator. However, you may drop images into your cart and create usage sets and determine pricing.

All Erickson Stock images are priced on a Rights Managed basis. This means that the fee to license an image is based on specifically how it will be used. For example, if the image will be used in a brochure, the license fee will depend on how many brochures will be printed, whether the image will appear on the inside or cover, the size of the image, the region in which the brochure will be distributed and the period of time over which the brochure will be distributed.

Below is they type of information we need to know in order to provide pricing for the most common photo uses:

Print Ad (magazine or newspaper)

• Size of the ad in relation to page size
• Size of image within ad as a percentage
• Type of publications (magazine, trade publication, newspaper, etc.)
• Number of insertions
• Circulation per insertion
• Territory of use
• Total time image will be used

Brochure:

• Physical size of brochure -Location of image (cover, inside or back)
• Size of image in relation to page size as a percentage
• Total number of brochures to be printed
• Territory of use -Total time period brochure will be distributed/in circulation

Poster/Outdoors:

• Size of poster
• Number of posters
• Size of image in relation to poster size
• Type of location (stores, corporate offices, special events, etc.)
• Duration posters will be displayed

Electronic:

• Type of use (i.e. corporate web site, tablet or smart phone app, banner ad, email blast or part of a PDF)
• Size of image (in either pixels of percentage of page size)
• Home page or secondary page
• Duration of use

Do you offer unlimited use?

We do offer pricing for unlimited use for a specific period of time. This is usually your best option if you will be using an image extensively. In order to provide you with a quote for unlimited use we need to know the duration, the region of use and if you want to include outdoor use (billboards, transit shelters, etc.) as part of the license. We also offer unlimited use on either a Non-Exclusive, Industry Exclusive or Blanket Exclusive (all industries) basis. We do not offer exclusivity on a regional basis except by country or continent.

Do prices vary depending on the image?

All of our images are priced the same. However please check each image to be sure it is available for your use, as some images have exclusive licensing already in place.

Do you offer images with Exclusivity?

Unless otherwise requested, all of our images are offered on a non-exclusive basis. All Exclusive options are only offered by contacting the sales department. We can also offer quotes for Industry Exclusive and Blanket Exclusive (all industries) pricing. Exclusivity can add substantially to the cost of the usage fee but it guarantees that competitors will not be using the same images. Exclusive uses normally include Unlimited Usage, excluding outdoors uses.

Do you offer Royalty Free images or Subscription services?

Since all of our images are only available on a Rights Managed basis we do not offer Royalty Free images or Subscription services.

What types of payment do you accept?

For US clients we accept an official corporate Purchase Order, credit cards and wire transfers. For clients located outside the US we accept credit card payments and wire transfers only. Images will only be released upon receipt of a Purchase Order (US only) or full payment by credit card or wire transfer.

How do I receive images I have licensed?

Once we have payment or a Purchase Order (US only) we will upload the image(s) to our download site and then send an email with access information on how to access the image(s). For images licensed through e-commerce, you will be provided with an account manager, which will provide you with a link to download your image (s). This link will be active for up to 1 week after date of purchase.

Do you offer discounts for purchasing multiple images?

We do offer discounts for multiple images. This discount will automatically be provided when you purchase more than 1 image.

When does the usage period of the images begin?

The usage period for licensed images begin on the date we release the image (upon receipt of receive a Purchase Order (US only) or payment via credit card or wire transfer) unless we are informed otherwise prior the release of the image.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once payment or a Purchase Order has been received, a refund of up to 50% may be issued if cancellation is within 14 days of purchase, and image has not been used. If the image(s) have been used in any way, no refund will be provided. After 14 days, no refund will be provided.
